DESIGNER PROFILE

Adrienne Zarger King is an East Tennessee native who attended high school in Knoxville, TN before graduating from Vanderbilt University with a degree in American and Southern Studies, where she delved into a blend of history, culture and sociology.

Soon after, Adrienne graduated from the Watkins College of Art and Design with a degree in Interior Design and began her career in interior design and planning. Experience was gained while working at KUDZU Furnishings and Gift Gourmet & Interiors in Knoxville, and in 2009 she went solo with the launch of Adrienne Z. King Interiors.

Known for incorporating antiques, custom furniture and a few unexpected pieces to create interesting spaces for her clients, Adrienne draws from her cultured past as she creates environments that are both timeless and current. In her own words, "I believe that you have to understand and respect history in order to move forward and enjoy the future."

Adrienne is a member of ASID and has passed the NCIDQ exam.
